we survived the night!

okay i havent updated in really long especially with facebook taking over the virtual world, blogs are diminishing in significance very much, but still this calls for an update, especially when i was shocked by the number of new msges (all facebook updates) found in my inbox this morning..
after uploading all the photos from the trip by about 3pm yesterday i had comatosed on the couch and slept practically the whole day away, with the exceptions of waking up to eat dinner, brush teeth, qt and then sleeping until 8am this morning. so it beats me how my energetic classmates managed tag all the photos and comment on them in the 2 albums..

thank God for the lovely weather (no rain!) and for keeping us safe throughout the journey, especially on the roads and narrow pavements where many hazards stood in way.

our first stop by the expressway, with the singapore flyer in the background :)

and a second stop outside marina square, with this huge snowflake globe thing..

and one with the merlion in the background. hahah we kept stopping to take photos :P

ben with the bikes at geylang lorong 9

frog porridge! ever wondered why frog porridge is called tian ji zhou and not qing wa zhou in chinese?

evidence that youtiao is very tough.

and seriously bear, this photo is NOT mysterious, more like just pure silly :P
makes me laugh over and over again

and as always..xiaolongbaos are love! yumm.

waiting up and headcounting at the traffic junction

on the way back from geylang we stopped by a sandbox playground, one of the rare ones left in singapore i believe! :)
and this was where daniel found a frog.
zoom in and you'll notice how the frog looks very terrified behind held so close to ben's mouth.
swings are great for reliving childhood! yes denzil..legs very long..

sometimes it gets hard to think of our class guys as 21..

being good dentists to be..we engaged in very uh..exciting morpho based activities too!
on some mega large overhead bridge

14x$1000=$14000 that the government could have potentially made off us..

our last stop on the way, where denzil said had nice sunrise but there was none! the sky just got brighter...and brighter..
emo boys on the staircases
7am at the sunrise kelong, with some pple still half asleep

nasi lemak breakfast at changi village..the famous nasi lemak stall was closed but when youre hungry anything goes really..haha :)

and this marked the end of our 13 hour long overnight cycling journey..with all the guys walking like ducks and everyone complaining of shoulder/butt/thigh aches.
