they say old is gold
how very true :)
met up with shiwei yj and timo on sat for lunch, in which we were all incredibly late and unintentionally caused yj to wait for half an hour at orchard mrt, with his german book to self entertain. lunch was fun, spent reliving the council days, obtaining certain army updates and annoying each other with stupid bets and predictions =)
had driving today and i think not driving a manual car for a month has caused me to slip into a state of anencephaly. couldnt rmbr how to parallel park properly and it didnt help that the instructor kept making me do it in the lot with the SLOPE.
the circuit slope was another nightmare because the handbrake jammed, half clutch wasnt sufficient and my car rolled back on the slope not one or two, but a grand total of three times.
thought i would have acquired about 100demerit points at the rate i was going.
not to mention, it didnt help that at the last part of the test route, some taxi stopped very close to my car. and for that, i was awarded 10 demerit points under "slow reaction in avoiding danger caused by others", which is quite an irony in itself.
but by the grace of God, i got away with a total of 30 pts! hurhurhur. 30 pts is the max before needing to repeat the revision lesson.
so yes it's horror coated with sweetness.
dinner at lincoln's with emily siok xz and gerald was simply goood. lincoln is an awesome chef! took photos but lazy to upload now..there was baked salmon, yao chai chicken, chicken cordon bleu and bread and butter pudding!! yummm.
meeting up with them is always nice =)
alright now i shall attempt to finish reading respiration notes for tutorial tmrw!
