when for the second time this year, at work there was a blackout. this time at heeren. singapore powers had some mega generator explosion, that could be heard from behind the glass windows of heeren 8th floor. and once again, very coincidentally, i was mixing IRM to fill a root canal treated tooth when it happened -.-
my sadistic side is rather amused at such things. like seeing the dental chair being unable to return to upright position, handpieces unable to be used, computer unable to be switched on, aircon goes off and everyone panicking.

when such freak accidents happen, or when natural disasters occur, i am always reminded of how myopic my concerns in life can get sometimes. siti said she was fascinated something like that happened. that singapore is too safe and surreal..that we need events like mas selamat escaping and singapore powers blowing up to remind us that we live in a less than perfect world. hmmm.

this week..i've made some promises to myself. to God. and this time i'm determined to keep them. it's going to be tough, to hurt, but in the end it will all be better.

praying for the strength to get through all these :)
