konichiwa!

it's already more than mid july and i cant really believe that close to 7 months of 2008 have flown by just like that. it feels like a twinkle of an eye but on hindsight..i think we've all been through quite a lot in 2008 thus far. working, tutoring, playing for blacks, collecting results, uni postings, taiwan, korea, catching up with friends, making new friends..the list rolls on.

today marked my probable last day at omni, it was good to see dr lim, dr ho, arica, leenette and marie again. dr loh and siti werent there but i guess i'll catch them around soon especially when i have yet to return (and read o.o) the dental materials book that dr loh lent me months ago. oops! i think i will miss them a lots work there is good and admittedly, it's because of the company =)

anyway yesterday morning it was my sister's law convocation! or commencement as they now call it. it was held at UCC, which i think is really quite an atas place! almost comparable to VCH and esplanade..
i served as her faithful photographer, under the orders of mummy dearest..and so here are some photos!

the grads throwed their tassles into the sky after the ceremony, which was really quite hilarious because after that some of them couldnt locate their tassles and the camera man asked them to throw a second time, instructing those who were tassle-less to "just pretend they're throwing something!"

uni is starting reaaally soon and pple gg overseas are flying off in aug/sept. for once i feel that independence has dawned upon our lives for real, that we're out of the sheltered bubble of sec sch/jc life, and into the real world we come!
