locked out of my own house

mothers day lunch at modestos was good! :D
we each ate half a large pizza and half a plate of pasta. super, super filling!
then i went off to meet emily at vivo to walk around a bit and later to her house to borrow her luggage bag back. it's no joke sitting in the bus for an hour long journey back with a huge black luggage bag. everyone was staring at me as if im some runaway kid. hurhur

but that's nothing compared to when i got home.
i discovered the grill door was LOCKED. which essentially meant i got locked out of my own house.
with the big black luggage bag. like some refuge...except outside my own house -.-
yes how very amusing. and my family was still at paragon eating jap desserts.

and to make things worse, the neighbour came out of her house -.-
so i decided to take a little stroll around the estate and take some photos.
see..this one reason is why its always good to carry around a camera in your bag.
entertainment when youre locked out of your own house.

here's the playground downstairs which is always infested with ickle screaming kiddies. surprisingly it was empty this afternoon..guess everyone's out celebrating mothers day!

and this is the same playground about 10 years ago.
just in case you were wondering, that little fat red thing climbing up the ladder is..ME =D
since i've lived here, the playground has been renovated twice.
it started with those old sand box playgrounds with metal swings which can swing you 180 degrees..then became this one, and finally the one above.
as you can imagine and see, progressively it became less thrilling..i.e less fun..blame the increasing safety requirements.

and to end off..meet the variety of stray cats in the estate..meow!
