This has been one of the most exhausting weeks in a long time. Physically, mentally, emotionally.

At the same time i've realized what forgiveness really is.

The way God forgives us though we sinned;

He doesn't treat us as though we are unworthy.

Likewise, when others sin against us in ways unspeakable,

should we not treat them with respect and kindness all the same?

For only then can God's love and mercy be reflected in our lives.

For forgiveness is letting go, letting God deal with the injustice, and setting ourselves free from the pain it has inflicted upon our lives.

Hallelujah for Your mercies and light, Lord :)
