KKK
met up with kalpy kelvin and kx today (their names all start with K!) at marina sq. i.e the loners outings because the number of friends we have left to go out with is decreasing by day.
we played a bit of arcade..bishibashi, which just damages all your nerve cells in your hand, daytona, and then kelvin bullied us all into playing para para. HAHA i can actually score 100% on it! amazing(: hmm maybe it's not as hard as it looks..
then we went to haagen dazs to eat my free sundae and bummed around there for hours, yakking away. it was pretty nice(: like kalpy said, i didnt expect we would stay so long but we did!
working tmrw yay! gonna meet kx again for lunch at vivo..to pass him donuts. box of 12 somemore. pig! =)
and on a random note, my heart goes out to yejie (ok as if!); the poor dude has cleaned the toilet three times since the six days he's been in army. muahaha.
some food for thought from kalpy: when we know others read our blogs, do we consciously or subconsciously try to sound like someone we are not? especially when the 'others' includes people of higher authority in our lives.
i was just pondering about it and my conclusion is, i dont know but most definitely i dont try to do it on purpose. i know there are people whom i dont even know who read my blog, and sometimes teachers like ms nair (hi if you see this!) do too..on top of my circle of friends. it's easy to find my blog via google or any search engine so i dont blame them and it doesnt matter to me either.
sometimes i hold back writing certain things which are sensitive or too raw, but never do i try to impersonate anyone or sound more profound than i really am. i mean, why bother? we can't please everyone concurrently and neither should we try to do so, or our existence is bound to become rather pointless.
nonetheless blogs will always be blogs; spaces in the web which are helplessly vulnerable and never a 100% personal.
