carpe diem
sometimes we all have morbid dreams. and yesterday was one of those nights. i don't know why but something tells me that the dream intended to tell me something.
like, to value life more. and not just live day by day.
anyway it's quite morbid, so don't read if you don't want to scare yourself.
basically it started when i was playing contact rugby with my touch rug girls. except that this contact rugby was rather screwed up in the sense that the ball used was some mega 5kg ball.
and so, the opponent kicked off and all of us were running backwards to catch the ball because a drop ball would mean change over or something. somehow i didn't see the ball and it smashed my head. bled bled bled and eventually i died. O.O
not the end of the dream yet. i don't know if i watch too much 'maggie and me', because in part 2 of the morbid dream, i dreamt that i became a floating spirit..free to roam..whereby i can see the world, but the world can neither see nor hear me. and the feeling really sucked. (yes, dreams have emotions o.O) to be next to someone, and not having the person being able to know that.
for some reason i went to visit my touch rug girls at their matches too..and it was really painful not being able to play. haiii. morbidness.
the dream made me think too..what dying at 18 would be like..not being able to ever take A levels, never getting to date, never getting married, never having kids, never being able to share the gospel with other people, never being able to experience working..etcetc. it just felt so ):
in addition..this was one of the dreams whereby i had no idea it was a dream. you know sometimes when you're dreaming and you know that you are dreaming, whereas sometimes you just dont? hahh. waking up this morning..made me feel very thankful and glad that i was alive.
anyhow..moral of the dream is..SEIZE THE DAY (:
there may never be a tomorrow, for you, or for someone else.
what can be done today, should not be postponed to tomorrow, you may never know whether you'd get the chance again. opportunities; they slip by like sand in an open palm.
tell someone you love them today(:
