courtesy of her bf (daniel) who brought the cake and guitar and tripod stand with camera. hahahaha.

we just had a little 21st bday celebration for my sis who turns 21 TODAY! right in our very own living room while jasmine tye was singing on singapore idol (: daniel brought the cake (belgium choc with crispy waffles..very VERY GOOD!!) and lit it up nicely with 2 large candles and 1 small one. i had the honour of poking one candle into that chocolate thang :D then he took A LOT of photos of her (duh), him and her and our family (: quite cool ay.

then came his happy bday song rendition on the acoustic guitar that he had borrowed from his friend. which was a complete flop! hahah! the strings were out of tune and it didnt help that he practiced for 2 weeks quite futilely. but sweet nonetheless (: its the thought that counts and overrides all in occasions like these.

haha i think daniel is so sweet =D she must feel very lucky to have him! for 3 years alr? around there.

and he wasnt even angry when i broke his friend's guitar string in an attempt to tune it later. gosh..im still feeling quite bad abt that..was tuning the 3rd string (which was majorly out of tune) tune tune tune, almost there...then PIAK! the metal string flew up and cut my right hand. quite scary O.O

anyhow, it isnt everyday that one gets to be 21 (old! old! old!) so jie do cherish it :D and be glad that you have a wonderful sister like me :D

ok..then again..maybe not. still.
